Glory

Have you been in his glory
With his presence surrounding you
Have you known the envelope of peace
That comes with gliding through life
On his ever-spread-out wings

This is what my heart feels
When I sit in an empty chapel
Leaning upon his grace
And laying all of my life’s troubles
At the feet of his throne of grace

Oh, how I wish I can lend you
A moment of this peace?,
This peace that the good lord has given to me

To go through life
Knowing that I am not alone

To have no fear of death nor pain
To have the father as the lord
As the compass of your very existence
